Mary Hickey
Mary Hickey earned her B.A. from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. She was admitted to the D.C. Bar. During law school, she was on the Dean’s List and was the President of the Immigration and Refugee Interest Society for which she earned the Dean’s Award. She interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Ethics and Attorney Discipline Unit and at a law firm focusing on federal litigation where she returned as a summer associate. After graduating law school, she returned to private practice as a federal litigator specializing in defensive immigration litigation and appeals.
Mary is a D.C. area native who enjoys exploring North Carolina which she now calls home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and boating on Lake Wylie.
